The hardest working man in show business, Ron Carter, appears on Jogalog. A sweet little record with Mr. Carter - Bass, Joe Henderson - Tenor, Chick Corea - piano, and Tony Williams - Drums. Horn arrangments by Wade Marcus, worked with Stevie Wonder, The Emotions, and Donald Byrd. Recorded in 1979 this not only shows off Carter's quartet arranging magic, but also Chick Corea takes a break from his fusion projects and delivers traditional chops.
The quartet blends beautifully with the shaping of the horn arrangments and allows the listener to break the walls of the studio and sit by an initimate occassion. Please enjoy a swingin side of Jogalog.
